Eastern businessman Khalil Ahmad Hajazi, owner of the IT materials importing company "Spain Informatica SA," strongly complained about the continuous harassment he has been facing from the public authorities due to the frequent confusion between him and the well-known Arab criminal Qasim Mohammad Hajazi. He emphasizes that he has no family or business relations with him.
In 2019, Khalil Ahmad Hajazi's companies faced interventions by the tax state agent and the Customs General Directorate, accusing them of tax evasion and smuggling during that fiscal year. The interventions escalated to the point where the Anti-Corruption Agency and the Public Prosecution requested simultaneous raids on various locations of Spain Informatica to seize all their accounting records.
As a result of the mentioned tax measures, the company lost all credit lines with local banks and foreign suppliers, leading the company to irreparable decline, ultimately forcing it to file for bankruptcy.
Origin of the Measures and Persecution
Khalil Hajazi was surprised by the immense damages inflicted on his company – forcing over 50 employees to be laid off. He conducted a comprehensive personal investigation to uncover the reasons behind the severe treatment by official entities against his company alone, given that it had been operating for several years under a system where all local importers operated, yet it was only harmed in this way.
Unofficially, he learned from sources within the relevant public institutions that his troubles stemmed from a mix-up between him and certain international organizations that mistakenly identified him with the known Arab-origin criminal Qasim Mohammad Hajazi, associated with various criminal activities in the tri-border area.
However, Khalil Hajazi asserts that he had no personal, family, or business relationships with the mentioned individual. At this stage, any clarification is inadequate as the damage is already irreparable. Nevertheless, to protect his reputation and that of his family, he has come forward to shed light on this unfortunate situation
