When and how was the idea of establishing Spain Informatica company born?

We were founded in 1979 as a sole proprietorship. On May 17, 2004, we officially launched the name Spain Informatica along with the creation of the tourism system.

What were the first products you sold?

We started by selling memory and hard drives and focused on them.

How was the market at that time? And what is the basic structure of Spain?

At that time, the market was tough, competitive, and full of challenges. We had to pay the price for what we did. Our company structure and essence are two families, but they are strictly organized by departments. If there is something that distinguishes us, it is maintaining the secrecy of our work. It's only a matter of time before our children continue to lead the company. Today, they do so part-time, which makes us very proud.

Time has passed. How have you experienced the market evolution from that era to today? Change presents a challenge, and we face a different battle every day. Challenges and obstacles always arise that we must overcome to remain competitive and innovative in our market.

How do you define Spain today? What are its main differences compared to its beginnings?

Spain Informatica S.A. is a strong and established company. The differences compared to the company founded in 1979, over thirty years ago, are striking.

What was the toughest situation the company has faced in your opinion?

Daily life in Ciudad del Este is tough. Every week is different, presenting us with various scenarios to face and move forward.

How do you see the market in Ciudad del Este today?

The market in Ciudad del Este is excellent. It all depends on the level of effort and strategic capability you have to take advantage of it.

What product lines does Spain sell today?

We focus on two specific fields: information technology and electronics. We sell all product lines under both brands.

What are the most in-demand products? Has there been a production line that surprised you with its success?

USB drives and Micro HD drives are very popular.
